Why we use it
We use information to operate accounts and transactions, show relevant local listings, protect users, prevent abuse, provide support, comply with legal duties and improve the service. A final lawful-basis analysis and consent language must be approved before launch.
Who receives information
Information may be shared with the other transaction participant when required for the handoff, and with contracted hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, moderation and payment providers. Exact pickup details are limited to order participants after seller confirmation. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Retention and security
Retention should be limited by data category, transaction, fraud, tax and legal needs. Shukaroo is designed not to store card details, bank credentials or provider identity documents. No system is completely secure; users should protect account access and report concerns promptly.

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete information, object to certain uses or withdraw consent where consent applies. The operator identity, privacy contact, retention schedule, cross-border transfer details and request process must be completed before launch.
