1. Eligibility and accounts
Shukaroo is intended for private individuals aged 18 or older. You must provide accurate information, protect access to your account and promptly report unauthorized use. Phone or identity verification may be required for marketplace actions.
2. Shukaroo’s role
Shukaroo provides technology for users to list, discover, communicate, pay and arrange pickup. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Shukaroo does not own, inspect or sell listed items and is not the buyer or seller. Users remain responsible for the transaction and for complying with applicable law.
3. Listings and conduct
Sellers must own or be authorized to sell each item, use accurate photographs, disclose material defects and follow the prohibited-items policy. Users may not mislead, harass, manipulate reviews, evade fees, move payment outside approved checkout or misuse another person’s data.
4. Payments, Buyer Protection and pickup
A regulated payment provider processes payment, refunds and seller payout under its own terms. Paid orders include a compulsory Buyer Protection fee, displayed separately with the item price and full buyer total before purchase. Shukaroo charges no seller commission; the seller’s recorded proceeds equal the agreed item price. The fee does not apply to free items. The buyer must inspect before revealing the one-time pickup code, whose redemption records acceptance and handoff.
5. Problems, cancellations and refunds
A qualifying material claim must be opened from the order within 24 hours after handoff and include requested evidence. Code redemption is strong evidence of inspection and acceptance. Change of mind, fit, taste, visible or disclosed issues, reasonable second-hand wear and buyer-caused damage are not covered. Shukaroo may pause payout, require the item to remain unused, request a verified return and decide release, full refund or partial refund, subject always to mandatory law.
6. Availability and liability
The service may be changed, suspended or unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shukaroo does not guarantee an item’s legality, safety, quality, authenticity, availability or a user’s conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Enforcement and governing law
Shukaroo may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts to protect users, comply with law or enforce these terms. Final operator details, notice address, dispute forum and governing-law wording must be inserted and approved by Israeli counsel before live transactions begin.
